Depois do Globo de Ouro, Fernanda Torres e o time do filme “Ainda Estou Aqui” já tem parada certa em mais uma premiação de cinema da qual podem sair com estatuetas em mãos.
Nesta segunda-feira (16/12), o Satellite Awards revelou sua lista de indicados para a premiação anual que pilota em torno dos destaques do cinema e da televisão, e a produção brasileira conquistou duas indicações: “Ainda Estou Aqui” na disputa pelo prêmio de “Melhor Filme Internacional”, e Fernanda Torres entre as selecionadas para concorrer ao troféu de “Melhor Atriz – Drama”.
O Satellite Awards é uma premiação anual organizada pela International Press Academy (IPA), uma associação de jornalistas do entretenimento fundada em 1996.
Em 2025, a cerimônia de premiação acontece em 26 de janeiro, em Los Angeles.

A premiação destaca conquistas em cinema, televisão e novas mídias. Diferente de outras premiações mais populares, os Satellite Awards têm um perfil um pouco mais independente e são reconhecidos por sua diversidade de categorias.
Além disso, a IPA também reconhece talentos emergentes, contribuindo para a visibilidade de artistas em ascensão.
História do Satellite Awards
A premiação começou em 1997, inicialmente chamada de Golden Satellite Awards. Com o passar dos anos, o nome foi simplificado para Satellite Awards, enquanto sua reputação foi se consolidando.
Por ser menos influenciada por grandes estúdios, a premiação é elogiada por escolhas diferenciadas, que frequentemente incluem produções independentes e internacionais.
Os Satellite Awards foram um dos primeiros a incluir categorias dedicadas ao streaming e à animação, antecipando tendências da indústria.
Eles também apresentam prêmios honorários, como o Auteur Award (para visionários da indústria) e o Mary Pickford Award (por contribuição excepcional para a indústria).
